Paklenica National Park is a paradise for climbers, hikers, and nature lovers alike! Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, you’ll find challenges for every level here. With routes from 4 to 8b+, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone. Experience the thrill of one-pitch sport routes or climb with us on multi-pitch routes up to 400 meters high and enjoy breathtaking views.
The area is also great for hiking during a rest day. The proximity to the sea allows us to end our climbing days with a dip in the cool water. A climbing adventure you shouldn’t miss!

Paklenica National Park is 45 min. drive from Zadar, within a 1.5h drive from the airport Split, or roughly 14h drive from Luxembourg.

We will focus on the nicest routes, adapted to your level, while at the same time teaching skills related to climbing technique and tactics, sport climbing or multi-pitch climbing, all while spending a wonderful week together. If a rest day is needed, then the impressive stalactite cave „Manita Pec“ deserves a visit, or we can take a look at the breathtaking filming locations of the Karl May movie adaptations of Winnetou, or simply enjoy a relaxing time on the various beautiful beaches nearby.

Organization and Communication

We will send you a confirmation email after you registered (please check your spam folder). After the booking deadline passed, we will reach out to you and all other participants to coordinate travel plans and, if necessary, discuss options if the minimum number of participants has not been met. We will finalize details such as the meeting point, equipment, travel, and other organizational information.

Independent vs guided participants

We offer two different prices depending on whether you are independent participant or one that needs guiding. An independent participant will benefit from the accomodation, food, local travel, but will receive only minor guiding instructions. This means that we will suggest climbing areas or routes, help with the local travel, but we will not supervise your climbing.

In contrast, the guided participants receive our full attention. We will supervise your climbing, give tips and tricks, provide in-field teaching in order to help you progress towards becoming an independent climber, put up the topropes for you, and if possible, take you on multi-pitch adventures.

Requirements for being an independent climber:

  • you can safely lead and belay outdoors yourself
  • you are able to climb independently
  • you are able to evaluate the safety aspects of a climb

An independent climber is responsible for his or her own safety and HiFive insurance will not be responsible if an independent climber has an accident during an unsupervised climb.

Travel and accommodation

You will have to book your own flights (Ryanair, Charleroi – Zadar is a good option). We organize accommodation, car pooling and guiding. If you take a flight to Zadar then we can travel together from the airport and we can also take you back. If you take another flight, then we cannot guarantee to pick you up or take you back to the airport. Approximate costs for the flight are 400€.

The accommodation is shared accommodation in either an apartment or a house. This will imply shared bedrooms for participants.

Bad weather policy

As stated in our General Terms of Conditions, the organizer reserves the right to terminate the contract if, before the start of the course/excursion, the weather conditions cannot guarantee that the course/excursion can be carried out safely. The customer will then be refunded the price for services not received.
