Climbing with weight difference

This course focuses on the unique challenges and techniques when climbing with a weight difference between partners, whether during top-rope or lead climbing. You’ll learn the theory behind how weight impacts climbing dynamics, including rope management and belaying. The course covers practical methods for compensating for weight differences, such as adjusting belay techniques, and ensuring safety during falls.
Our internationally-certified and experienced instructors will guide you through the fundamental techniques in a fun and supportive environment. This course can be useful for those who only top rope, but participants will benefit the most if they have lead climbing experience.
