Multi-pitch climbing for intermediates
You have already done the one or the other multi-pitch? You maybe took already a multi-pitch climbing course with us, such as Multi-pitch climbing for beginners? Then it is time to opt up your game and take it to the next level.
Join us for a one-day outdoor lead climbing course in the renowned Freyr climbing area, located in the picturesque Ardennes region of Belgium. This course is designed for climbers who have some multi-pitch climbing experience and are eager to learn more.
Prerequisites: Some experience in multi-pitch climbing such as our course Multi-pitch climbing for beginners. If you have also some experience lead climbing outdoors, such as via our course Outdoor lead climbing I, then we could also teach you further skills or immediately help you transition towards lead climbing.
Course contents:
- Deeping your multi-pitch climbing skills: Flexible anchor techniques and management, climbing in teams of up to three and handling double ropes
- Furthering safety and risk management: Understand key safety practices, including how to assess potential risks and handle advanced route finding.
- Abseiling techniques
- Learn hands-on while climbing multi-pitch routes in the wonderful area of Freyr.
This course is ideal for climbers who have some preliminary multi-pitch climbing experience. By the end of the day, you’ll have improved your skills and confidence for multi-pitch climbing.
Bad weather policy
As stated in our General Terms of Conditions, the organizer reserves the right to terminate the contract if, before the start of the course/excursion, the weather conditions cannot guarantee that the course/excursion can be carried out safely. The customer will then be refunded the price for services not received.
Organization and Communication
We will send you a confirmation email after you registered (please check your spam folder). Several days before the offer begins, we will reach out to you and all other participants to coordinate travel plans and, if necessary, discuss options if the minimum number of participants has not been met. We will finalize details such as the meeting point, equipment, travel, and other organizational information.

Conducting the course with fewer than the minimum number of participants
For an additional fee (see „Offer costs“), the course will still take place even if there are fewer than the minimum number of participants. You can choose this option when registering if desired.
