The course will consist of climbing some of the more famous, beautiful routes in Pfalz, adapted to the the level of the participants, while at the same time teaching skills related to trad climbing, anchor building, and choosing the right routes for your abilities. Multi-pitch is also possible.

Course contents:

  • Revision of safety aspects
  • climbing trad routes to practice gear placements, building belays, and route reading.
  • Climbing groups (pairing up participants) under the supervision of instructors.
  • Emphasis on building confidence in placing protection and leading a short trad climb.
  • For those comfortable with trad climbing basics, instructors will guide participants in leading trad routes.
  • Focus on mental preparation for leading, assessing gear placements, and evaluating safety.

1) Change the course location. As alternatives we would then offer Gerolstein, Pfalz or Freyr. All areas are maximum two hours drive away from Luxembourg.
2) As stated in our General Terms of Conditions, the organizer reserves the right to terminate the contract if, before the start of the course/excursion, the weather conditions cannot guarantee that the course/excursion can be carried out safely. The customer will then be refunded the price for services not received.
